The Value we misplace

The Value we misplace

A wife arriving home from a shopping trip was horrified to find her husband in bed with a lovely young woman.
Just as she was about to storm out of the house, her husband stopped her with these words:

"Before you leave, I want you to hear how this all came about. While I was driving along the highway, I saw this young girl here, looking tired and bedraggled, so I brought her home and made her a meal from the roasted beef you had forgotten in the refrigerator. She had only some worn-out sandals on her feet, so I gave her a pair of good shoes you had discarded because they had gone out of style. She was cold, so I gave her the sweater I bought you for your birthday that you never wore because the colours didn't suit you. Her slacks were worn out, so I gave her a pair of yours that were perfectly good but too small for you now.”

Then, as the young girl was about to leave the house, she paused and asked, "Is there anything else your wife doesn't use anymore?"

As much as this story is funny, there's also a lesson to learn from it.
Most of us tend to be caught up in our daily activities our work etc that we tend to forget things that matter more.

We take things for granted forgetting that there's someone out there that has nothing and wishes to be in our shoes. We forget how lucky we are to be in the position we are in, eating three square meals a day and being healthy and alive.

Many People out there want what you have and if you don't value them one day they will have it and you'll be made to know what it feels like having nothing.

You can have a change of heart now and place value on the things you have that seem unreasonable to you at the moment, because if they find something that gives them that attention they deserve and that place where they seem to be needed they might not come back.

So please show everyone around you how special they are to you because every minute counts.

I love you is three words but have a whole lot of weight.
Always remember a stitch in time saves nine.
